The central nervous system plays a pivotal role in shaping our physical and emotional experiences, and for those on a spiritual quest, it holds profound significance.
Through the focus and concentration of heat directed toward specific centers in the body, we activate a natural, harmonizing mechanism. When focused accurately, this process releases pent-up emotional traumas, dispels negative thought patterns, and brings about a state of equilibrium in physical emotional and mental well-being.

Â
Upon achieving this goal, we usher in a fresh start commonly known as healing.
In Eastern mysticism, there exist ten methods to facilitate this innate process, catering to distinct individuals. Some excel in inner concentration, while others find their alignment through the discipline of physical movement.
Elongating brainwaves, clearing physical obstructions, and harmonizing the central nervous system opens pathways to the energetic layers which encase each individual.Â
This propels conscious awareness beyond the physical into the quantum field.
While our daily lives revolve around immediate surroundings, our awareness is inherently non-local, a key insight in the pursuit of True Awakening. The most direct route to these states involves Pranayama, thew body of knowledge that contains all of the teaching involving breath-work.Â
In this session led by Michael Brian Baker, participants will be introduced to a calming and rejuvenating breath exercise, guided through breath meditation, and offered an extended period of relaxation.
Session includes:
- Inspirational and evidence-based teachings relevant to well-being during times of global and personal transition
- Detailed instructions and tutorial of one accessible Pranayama practice for physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual benefit
- Guided, active Pranayama meditation practiced laying down
- Supplemental music and sound healing techniques
- Extended resting period for restoration and integration
Open to individuals of all levels and belief systems, no experience required.Â

In a New York Times article from January 9th 2024 titled “Breathing Their Way to an Altered State”,  author Damien Maloney writes, “As psychedelics move from the underground to mainstream medicine, clinicians aspiring to work in the field are inducing altered states with deep breathing."
How important is Breathwork going to be in 2024?
Perhaps, so important that the article makes mention of “dozens of attendees at a recent breathwork workshop in San Francisco who were far from hippies or cult initiates. They were health care professionals completing the final step of a certification program in psychedelic therapy.”
Western Medical Science is beginning to take Breathwork therapeutics very seriously.
Dr. JJ Pursell, a naturopathic doctor from Oregon, was among the trainees, walked  into the session skeptical that a couple of hours of intense breathing could induce anything close to a psychedelic trip. But she was stunned. The article make mention of another doctor, “Dr. Bayla Travis, a psychologist in Oakland, Calif., who was drawn to the training because she has come to conclude that chronic pain — her specialty — is often a physical manifestation of repressed emotional trauma. Dr. Travis said she had embarked on the breathwork session with low expectations because a previous workshop she had participated in had been unremarkable. She was in a cheerful mood when the recent training began. But within minutes, of engaging  in the respiratory technique, Dr. Travis was overcome by a wave of heavy emotions that made her cry and shake as she tapped into what she described as a “deep, deep sorrow that wasn’t particularly about anything." After cycling through periods of sadness and bliss, Dr. Travis had a powerful vision as the session was winding down. She saw herself being carried by an adult. The image was deeply soothing. “I think it means I get to be comforted,” Dr. Travis said. The many tears she shed felt a bit mysterious, she added. “It was like, Oh, this is under the surface and maybe I’ve been walking around with this not having had an opportunity to give it expression.”
